Position Overview:

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust BI solutions that support our organization’s strategic initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, gather and analyze data, and create actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs.
- Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions including dashboards, reports, and analytical tools using BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
- Build and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from relational databases.
- Implement data modeling techniques to create scalable and efficient data architecture.
- Conduct quality assurance and data validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of BI solutions.
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues related to BI systems, databases, and data flows.
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and dashboards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, SSIS) and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Certification in BI tools or data analytics (e.g., Tableau Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.
